Connecticut summory
We made it back from Connecticut in one piece. The Connecticut regional definitely had it's highs and lows. This being our third regional, we had a pretty good handle on what to expect. We decided that our robot was just working to well and that the build team needed something to do so we added a new component. All of this contributed to a great weekend. It was a nice long run but all good things come to an end.
Connecticut Regional
This weekend, Delphi E.L.I.T.E. will travel to Hartford Connecticut for the FIRST Connecticut Regional. The team will leave at 11pm on Tuesday, March 24th. Team members are required to be at the school by 10:45pm.
On their way to Connecticut, the team will be stopping in New York City for sight-seeing and hopefully and appearance on the NBC's Today show sometime between 7 and 10am on Wednesday. Students are reminded to bring comfortable walking shoes and to dress for the weather.
Have a wonderful time team.
The event will be webcast by team 230, The Gaelhawks. We will post that link on the homepage as we have done in the past. Be looking for a large image at the top of the page.
2009 Pittsburgh Regional
By Ali Marino
On Thursday, March 12th, Team 48 showed up with our pride in Delphi E.L.I.T.E. to win and to have some fun. Pittsburgh had it's share of ups and downs, just like the roads we traveled to get here. Usually Pittsburgh is our first regional, but this year the schedules changed so this is regional number two for us. The robot is tweaked and ready to go.

2009 FIRST Buckeye Regional in Review
By: Travis Ricci
The FIRST Buckeye Regional, a regional event where you'll always find Team 48 competing, was a great success for us. We usually find ourselves attending this regional after having competed at another regional in the weeks before, but this year, Buckeye was a week 1 regional. For being a week 1 regional, our robot performed above great. A few minor adjustments and Xtrēmachēn 12 was working like a well oiled machine.
Our very fresh drive-team looked as through they had been playing the game all their life, and our human player had great accuracy when scoring on the opposing alliance. The entire drive team could not of done a better job either, having gone two days of qualification matches with a record of 6-1-0 and seeding 7th out of the 59 teams in attendance.
